Otra Cosa Network runs five of our own projects, which are all part of the Huanchaco Education and Learning Programme (HELP)

HELP Women

This is a project focused on empowering the women of Huanchaco through education, The objective is to provide a safe space for women to be able to learn and develop skills.

HELP Environment

Delivering environmental education. We work closely with the younger generation of locals in Huanchaco and surrounding areas.

HELP English

In Peru the English language is part of the government designed school curriculum. It is technically a requirement for schools to have English lessons. However, the schools in our area, like many others, are neglected.

HELP Literacy

This project began in 2013 when Otra Cosa Network received a grant from LitWorld, a US-based non-profit, to set up a reading club for girls, known as a LitClub, in the shanty town of Cerrito de la Virgen.

HELP Youth

HELP Youth has evolved over the past several years from a local skate ramp to a robust youth development program encompassing swimming, football, arts & crafts, healthy lifestyles and other activities.
